Our Previous Work

Take a look at some of our previous work.

Laser Engraving

PMP Laser Technology provides specialist laser engraving services for customers across Hampshire and the UK, delivering precise, permanent results on a wide range of components, tools and engineered parts. The laser engraving projects shown here reflect the variety of work we carry out for manufacturers, toolmakers and industrial clients who need accuracy, consistency and a high standard of finish. From detailed mould tool inserts and EDM electrodes to asset tags, watch casebacks, jigs, fixtures and traceable production parts, our laser engraving service is designed to meet both technical and visual requirements.

Our advanced fibre laser systems allow us to provide both deep laser engraving and laser marking, depending on the application. Deep engraving is ideal where a clearly defined, durable mark is required within the surface of the material, while laser marking creates a permanent high-contrast finish by changing the surface colour of the component. This makes laser engraving a highly effective solution for serial numbers, logos, QR codes, Data Matrix codes, identification marks and custom artwork. For many customers, this is not only about presentation, it is also about part traceability, product control and long-term durability in demanding working environments.

The examples in this gallery show the level of detail and precision that can be achieved across a wide range of applications. Every project has its own requirements, whether that means creating clean and readable identification marks, producing repeatable engraving across batches, or applying custom designs to specialist components. We use modern software to prepare, edit and refine artwork before engraving, helping ensure that the final result is sharp, accurate and fully suited to the job. This approach allows us to support everything from one-off custom work to ongoing production requirements.

As a company established in 1999, PMP Laser Technology brings over 25 years of experience to every laser engraving project. We understand that customers often need more than just a mark on a surface. They need an engraving solution that works reliably in production, supports traceability, meets quality standards and arrives on time. That is why we focus on precision, repeatability and fast turnaround, as well as the finished look of the engraved part itself.

Based in Havant, Hampshire, we provide laser engraving services in Hampshire and for customers throughout the UK. The work shown in this project section highlights our ability to engrave a wide range of parts to a consistently high standard. If you need laser engraving, laser marking, part marking, QR code engraving or serialisation for tooling, components or specialist products, PMP Laser Technology offers an experienced and dependable service tailored to your exact requirements.

Laser Welding

PMP Laser Technology provides high-precision laser welding services for customers across Hampshire and the UK, helping restore damaged moulds, repair tooling and refurbish engineered components with accuracy and control. The laser welding projects shown here demonstrate the type of specialist repair work we carry out for customers who need reliable restoration without the risk of excessive heat distortion. Whether the issue is a damaged edge, a machining error, localised wear or general deterioration over time, our laser welding service offers a practical and cost-effective way to bring valuable parts back into working condition.

One of the key advantages of laser welding is its low heat input. Because very little heat goes into the part, the process is ideal for precision work where dimensional stability is important. This makes laser welding especially suitable for mould repair, tooling repair and fine restoration work on high-value or technically demanding components. We use filler wire sizes from 0.2mm to 0.8mm, allowing us to carry out accurate, controlled welding on a variety of materials and repair types. We also keep stock filler wires for P20, 2767, H13, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel, aluminium and beryllium copper, with other materials available where required.

The images in this project section show examples of the precise work involved in repairing and rebuilding moulds and worn parts. In many cases, laser welding forms part of a wider restoration process, allowing us to rebuild damaged areas before they are reworked and refined. This is especially useful for customers looking to extend the life of tooling, avoid unnecessary replacement costs and return important production moulds to service as quickly as possible. We regularly work on injection moulds, blow moulds, composite moulds, rotational moulds and rubber moulds, providing repairs that support continued performance in demanding production settings.

At PMP Laser Technology, we understand that every repair has a practical purpose. A repaired mould or component has to do more than look right, it has to perform properly once it goes back into use. That is why we combine laser welding expertise with a strong understanding of tooling, production pressures and refurbishment requirements. Established in 1999, we have built our reputation on precision workmanship, responsive service and real-world support for customers in manufacturing and engineering.

Based in Havant, Hampshire, we provide laser welding services in Hampshire and throughout the UK. The examples shown here reflect our experience in precision laser welding, mould refurbishment and specialist tooling repair. If you need laser welding for damaged moulds, worn tooling or precision-engineered parts, PMP Laser Technology offers an accurate, low-distortion solution backed by decades of hands-on experience.

Precision Polishing

PMP Laser Technology provides expert precision laser polishing services for customers across Hampshire and the UK, working on moulds, tooling and machined components where surface finish, accuracy and performance all matter. The projects shown in this section highlight the range of polishing work we undertake, from the finishing of new tooling to the restoration and refurbishment of older moulds that need to be brought back to a high working standard. Our polishing service is trusted by customers who need more than a visual improvement, they need a precise finish that supports consistent production and quality results.

Our precision polishing work covers a wide range of applications, including injection mould polishing, composite mould polishing, blow mould polishing, rubber mould polishing and the polishing of many different machined parts. Because moulds and components often work to very fine tolerances, the polishing process needs to be carried out with real care and technical understanding. We do not treat polishing as a basic finishing job. We approach it as a specialist process that can have a direct effect on the quality, accuracy and performance of a tool in use. The surface condition of a mould can influence part release, detail reproduction and the final quality of the finished product, so careful polishing plays an important role in keeping tools working effectively.

The images in this gallery show examples of our polishing and refurbishment work across different types of moulds and components. Some projects involve improving the surface finish of new tooling, while others focus on restoring worn moulds that have lost edge definition or surface quality over time. In many cases, our mould refurbishment service is combined with laser welding, allowing damaged areas to be repaired before final polishing is carried out. This provides customers with a practical and cost-effective alternative to replacing high-value moulds and tooling. It also helps extend the service life of parts that remain important in production.

PMP Laser Technology was originally established as a mould polishing company in 1999, and polishing remains one of the core strengths of the business today. Across the team, we bring over 100 years of collective polishing experience, giving customers confidence that their tooling is in knowledgeable hands. We understand the demands of production environments and the importance of restoring moulds not just to look better, but to perform properly again.
